12. FINAL WORDS: A TIME AND PLACE FOR ANGER.

In this weeks FINAL WORDS...

I would like to follow up from my final words of last week where I reflected on the importance of showing love and compassion to those among us who are engaging in energies of negativity towards humans and to our planet. I had commented that we do not know the soul-level contracts that each individual signed up for, and thus we cannot fully know what each soul is meant to bring to the awakening collective human consciousness. I emphasized the importance of being willing to forgive souls that have committed violence and not judging them.

I may have created the impression that I am advocating 'spiritual fluff', so to speak. Lots of love and Light talk without releasing what needs to be released at this time in order to move forward.

I would like to be clear about something. To the very best of our abilities, we are here to co-create a golden age upon our planet. We are here to birth into being a new planetary, galactic consciousness, and release technologies and abundance that will benefit and save our planet but also benefit and save humanity. We have two ways we can do this. We can do it with violence and killing, but then we have to ask ourselves if we have really created a golden age, because all we have done is replace killers with killers only claiming to want a world for themselves.

We can do it through compassion and love. When I say this, this does not mean that there will be no incidents of violence or perhaps even death. What I am saying is that to the very best of our abilities, we are choosing to practice the BE-ing of love, compassion and forgiveness in our attempts to transform and transmute negative energies around us. In certain situations, depending upon soul-levels contracts, this may fail – and there may legitimately come times in this evolution where we have to defend ourselves. Forgiveness does not mean releasing another soul from the consequences of one's actions or choices. It means releasing one's attachment to the energies that often consume individuals.

The key word is 'defend'. We are not co-creating a golden age by proactively seeking out cabal members to inflict harm and punishment upon them. However, in their choice to mistreat us, a time may come when we are forced to put an end to it, and this end may require the use of physical force and perhaps even death.

Do I advocate violence and physical force? Of course not. Do I advocate the use of violence and force in the name of self-defence? This is not to be judged by me, but only by the individual being faced with oppression. When every reasonable attempt has been made to diffuse a situation and every attempt has been made to reach out to the hurting souls who are inflicting harm, and they choose not to awaken, some more drastic choices may become necessary.

I am not suggesting that every human just bury their hatred and anger for all that has been done to them. If you are an individual that requires an emotional release through expression anger through words or perhaps through actions, this is your choice. Some release negativity by going to the gym - and working it off. Some bury themselves in creativity, and express it through that creativity; others need to explode verbally; others need to cry... Each is uniquely different, yet equally beautiful in her/his service to humanity, and each has an important role. Some will turn their anger into negative treatment towards humanity and our planet.

There are souls that are very good at using physical force against another. Some are addicted to it, and seek to find careers where they can use their physical force. Others are able to control it, and use it only when necessary. The world has needed both of them in order for humanity to awaken.

There are souls that are not good with using physical force, and will avoid it at all costs. I am one of these. Not a typical alpha male. However, this does not mean that I do not get angry and that I do not resist and fight back in my own way. Cosmic Vision News is my expression of the anger I have felt over what has happened to humanity and our planet. However, my expression of anger is not one of anger to get others upset. It is a release of my energies by reporting on what is being done, and as these energies are released I can begin to empower others to see what is happening, so that they will choose to act in whatever way is meaningful for them, to help humanity and our planet.

If the cabal attacks us, there will be souls who are ready to use physical force for defence only. There will be Lightworkers or Lightservers who have agreed to do this for humanity if a time was needed. There are also Lightservers who need to anchor the energies of love and Light, to help support those souls who defend for our Highest Good. They need the help from others among us so that they will not fall into the pattern of killing beyond that which is necessary for protecting humanity. Others among us have the job to help keep them grounded in their service so they do not wholly forget who they are.

It is a balance, and we both need each other if humanity is to move forward.

We are being attacked from many angles, yes; we are being poisoned, yes; we have been enslaved, yes and more. We are in this situation because we allowed it to happen. Getting mad and blaming another soul without owning our own participation in what we've created may not help the situation.

We are 'calling out' the cabal by exposing their games and tactics. By not resorting to anger and fear during all these false-flag events..we have denied them the energy that they need for their power. When we are attacked however physically...we defend ourselves...and many are starting to do that, in whatever ways they feel are meaningful to them.

there is a time and a place for anger, as well as a direction in which to place that anger. One may not like what his/her child may do, but they do not love them any less. A good parent tries to set the best example of what they would like the child to learn, but of course the parent her/himself must also be grounded to be able to do that. With a spouse or partner..one of the rules is: fight fairly. If you have to get mad, get mad at the situation or the choice...but do not make another 'bad' or 'wrong'. Avoid making your love conditional upon choices made by others.

To perhaps put it a bit more clearly - there is what is called destructive anger, that seeks to blame, make 'wrong', and judge another as 'bad' or 'evil', while seeking revenge, or the etocentric need to be 'right'. Then there is the constructive anger, that looks at a situation or an issue that is displeasing, disempowering or dehumanizing, while looking for ways to address the issue for the Highest Good of all.  I choose to not focus so much on the making of individuals as 'wrong', as opposed to creating the structures and societal paradigm that will declare everything the cabal represents as redundant and no longer need. This to me represents a more honourable manifestation, and dare I even use the word 'revenge'?

We heard Snowden describe a few moment ago his work and the future of the internet.  This may be considered an example of constructive anger.

Quite honestly, I am willing to forgive any cabal member who either switches loyalty to the forces of Light, or to one who simply resigns his or her position and disappears somewhere away from influencing and its evolution forward. I only want the change to manifest as quickly as possible. This is my personal feeling however.

If people want angry truth news, they can go get it from Alex Jones and others. That is their niche and I honour that. CVN is my niche, my truth and my service and I choose to do it from the positive, energetic perspective.

12. FINAL WORDS

In this weeks FINAL WORDS,... It amazes me, sadly perhaps, to see so many people on Facebook claiming to be Lightworkers and yet are so publicly and unapologetically critical of others. Out of one side of their mouths come these affirmations of peace, harmony and oneness, and yet out of the other side comes negative criticsims without any apparent understanding of the BIGGER, bigger picture to which they are leveling this criticism.

It is one thing to politely say that one does not resonate with choices that one is making, however it is something very different to publicly judge an individual as 'bad' or 'evil' in the face of the oneness that we all are.

We claim to want peace and harmony, and yet by our very words and actions, we are attempting to create a new paradigm based on energies of negativity.. energies that will not hold in a 5D paradigm of existence, and thus these energies must now come up for release and healing.

I pass no judgment on individuals choosing this. I observe your choices, and although I personally do not resonate with those choices, I have to allow one to be who one is, and send energies of peace and healing to any choosing negativity, in the prayer that they will remember who they are, and choose not to create a new paradigm based on fear, judgment and negativity.

We are all dealing with our own personal negativities come up for healing at this time. Why would we choose to complicate it by adding to those energies?

Now some of these souls deserve compassion, because they may be taking on some of the collective energies of humanity. They may be expressing these energies, for the purposes of healing for those that are unable or unwilling to release those energies themselves. Again, in this case, who are we to judge another? Our job is to BE the example, and to help these individuals to awaken and release that energy, so they can re-member themselves to.. or rejoin.. the oneness energy. We do not know what their soul-contract is for the Highest Good at this time.

Many are judging current leaders based on actions from many years ago. I would lay odds that there is not one among us who has not done something in years past that he/she now considers to be regrettable. Each soul is where she/he is now because of the experiences that have brought one to this knowing of who one is. Is it therefore not equally possible that certain leaders make choices in the past that may now be considered less than LIFE-honouring, but they were made for reasons unknown at that time? A few global leaders appear to be demonstrating an attempt to do this. Putin, Obama and Pope Francis are perhaps the more notable examples. All three chose the very difficult path of moving through circles where there was great corruption, crime, fear and death. They may have done things at certain times that were less than LIFE-honouring...however in not doing those things, they may not now be in the position they are in, to start making the changes that they appear to be trying to make. We do not know the BIGGER, bigger picture that is unfolding, and we do not know the full extent of the cabal control that has influenced anything that they may have attempted or are attempting to do.

I worked for a union at Toronto airport many years ago while loading and unloading aircraft. We were on probation for six months, and of course each was expected to be on his/her best behavior during that time. After six months, the union members became more critical of me, because I continued to do my job well, and some did not like that at all. They tried to break me. The union protected employees who damaged aircraft, and stole from peoples' luggage, but did not protect me because I did my job well. Eventually I did move away, to become a global instructor to travel agents for a computer reservation system.. two of them. It was time to move on to the next growth opportunity. I then learned how the corporate world cares more about profits than about the quality of products and services as well as the well-being of employees.

Leaders are expected to play a certain game.. for the public up to a point, but then when the chips are down, they either play by cabal rules, or they are removed, one way or the other. To make changes from within, one has to be willing to get in..and this may mean doing things one may not normally choose to do.

The honest undercover police officers would know this. However, I might take a guess that there are no really and truly honourable undercover police officers, because if they were really and truly honourable, they would not likely get accepted for those assignments, because the assignments require broken souls who are willing to do the dirty work that the honest officers would not likely choose to do if they have strong morals and ethics. They are willing to commit crimes to infiltrate groups. Some may even be willing to harm another.

Look at the soldiers in our militaries around the world. They are killing innocent civilians, looting countries, transporting drugs and helping the global cabal to profit and perpetuate the enslavement of humanity and the destruction of our planet. Will you judge them as evil or bad? Some of the patriotic forces who are now attempting to take down the global cabal had to commit those acts in order to be where they are now, to do what they are now doing. Would you choose to arrest and punish these souls for things that they did in their past?

Make no mistake, souls will be held accountable for anything done that was not for the Highest Good of humanity and our planet. Some chose to take on negative roles... I choose to believe this.. for the purposes of awakening at this critical time to help bring in the transformation now unfolding.

Whether or not we as a species are willing to move forward may depend upon how willing we are to let go of that which is in our past, and that which no longer defines who we are choosing to be in this moment of 'now'.

Dr. Wayne Dyer has said: " If you judge another, you do not define them..you define yourself.

Some leaders are better at revealing a bit of their Light even when they are doing things that may not be considered LIFE-honouring in that moment. Some humans are better at seeing this Light, or feeling this Light or intuiting this Light within others.

7. TEN QUESTIONS MORTGAGE HOLDERS NEED TO KNOW. (EXPLANATIONS BELOW)

1. Am I indebted to the bank right now? (Please answer yes or no).

Obvious question, right? Wrong. In fact, your bank may well refuse to answer it.
Here's why: If your loan has been securitised, then you are no longer indebted to your bank. If you are not indebted to your bank, then in our opinion, the bank cannot take judgement against you.
A recent judgment in the US (one of many similar judgments since 2008) has ordered banks to pay out US$8.5billion to consumers because of banking fraud. This is almost identical to what you should be seeking.
In the case of securitisation, your legal position with the bank has changed. Did your bank disclose securitisation to you? Do you even know what it means? Probably not. Therefore, you should therefore seek recourse and follow the success of other countries.
Also, if the bank does answer "yes" to this question, and it turns out that your loan has been securitised, then it is our opinion that the bank has placed itself in a position of fraud and quite possibly perjury. This could lead to criminal action against the bank and possible recourse for you.

2. Please confirm that the bank actually possessed the money they claim to have lent me, prior to my loan being granted. In other words, did the bank physically have the money they lent me, prior to the money appearing in my account?

It is unlikely that your bank will answer this question. However, they may try to disguise the answer by using clever language, so read their answer very carefully.
If your loan was securitised, then the bank's money was not used to fund the loan. Therefore, a legitimate loan between you and the bank may not exist. The bank could never admit this, because to do so would be to admit that there could not possibly be a loan agreement with you.
Even if your loan was not securitised, then the bank still cannot answer this question. Why? Because the bank did not loan you their own lawful money. Something you need to know about banking: banks do not "loan" money in the ordinary sense of the word. This is a tricky concept, and works like this:
Banks do not make loans. Instead, they "advance" or "extend" something called "credit." This simply means that a magical facility is created that provides you with "money" that is made out of thin air. As hard as it is for you to accept this, the money loaned to you was simulated (ie virtual).
To illustrate: A customer deposits €100 into their bank. The bank then quickly makes nine photocopies of that €100. They lend those photocopies to nine people, charging interest on each of those so-called loans. Then, if the loan is not paid back with interest, they take away the assets pledged as security.
In reality banks do not use a photocopier, they use a computer. The loan amount is typed into the computer and, hey presto, "magical" money is created out of thin air. You think that this money is a loan, or debt so you feel obligated to pay it back. However, it was never actually lent to you in the first place.

3. Would the bank be prepared to amend the credit agreement as follows: "We, the bank, did in fact possess the money we loaned you, prior to the loan being approved."

If you are wrong, then the banks would have no problem complying with this request. However, see for yourself: they will not agree to amend the contract.
If your loan has been securitised, your original agreement is no longer with the bank! A bank loses all right and title to the loan agreement once it has been sold into a securitisation scheme. One cannot amend an agreement when they are no longer legally entitled to it, nor do they have it in their possession. Furthermore, any indebtedness to the bank would have been settled as a result of the sale of the asset.
Put simply, no matter what the situation, the bank did not possess the money it loaned you, and never did. They are fooling you and participating in a fraud of monumental proportions. The fraud is that they cannot take away your assets without disclosing the truth to both you and the Court.

4. Was the loan funded by assets belonging to the bank at the time the loan was granted? Either way, please describe in detail the accounting process used to create my loan.

If everything is legitimate and above board, then banks should have no problem explaining how your particular loan came into being. However, banks will not reveal this to you. When you ask your bank these questions, you will see for yourself.
You need to know something else about banking: Banks do not deal with actual, physical "money." Instead, they operate with promises to pay. For example: if a bank promises to pay you €10,000, that would equate to a €10,000 deposit into your account. This deposit is reflected on your statement as a promise of the bank, to you, for €10,000. In other words, it looks like you have €10,000 in your account, but actually this number merely represents €10,000 worth of promises made by a bank to you.
The words "money" and "deposit" are therefore misleading. The banks redefined these words so they sound the same in everyday use, but mean something very different to the legal and banking system.
Another word being misused is the word "transfer." A transfer is not a transfer of money. It is simply a case of the bank shifting their promise to pay A to a promise to pay B. This is only an illusion of a transfer.
Do you remember when you first took out a loan? You gave the bank a promise, in writing, to make payments every month, with interest. This written promise to pay money to the bank becomes the money they used to lend you! Therefore, you actually created your own loan. It takes some time to get your head around this, and we recommend you research the links below to help you understand the process.

5. Did the bank record my promissory note / negotiable instrument as an asset on its books? If yes, how was my instrument used to create my loan, and where is my valuable promissory note / negotiable instrument now?

This question is designed to trick the banks. You want confirmation from your bank that they deal in negotiable instruments (promises). Once admitted, it will confirm most of what you are saying.
Remember, real money (gold and silver, or notes that represent gold and silver) no longer exist. The illusion of money (known as "credit" or "bank promises") quietly replaced real money so that the banks could fund their own business empire by creating money out of nothing, then charging interest on it.
Negotiable instruments (promissory notes and bills of exchange) serve, in effect, as money. So, when you give the bank a promissory note (a written promise to pay back a loan), they convert your promise into their promise. Their promise = so called "money." So you gave them the money they loaned you.

6. Does the bank participate in a securitisation scheme whereby debts / promissory notes are bundled and then sold-on to a third party/parties via special purpose vehicles, entities or alike processes?

This question is plain and simple: we want the banks to admit the obvious. We know they engage in securitisation, but once they admit this to a customer, then the customer would naturally have the right to ask a crisp follow-up question: "well then, has my specific loan been securitised?" Remember, if your loan has been securitised, then the whole game changes. This is ultimately what we want the banks to tell us. There is a very good chance that your loan has been securitised. You need to know the truth, which is why you MUST persist in your demand for the answers.

7. With reference to point 6, has my loan securitised? If so, please send me all details regarding its securitization.

It is your right to know about securitisation. If you don't get answers, then work to obtain recourse.

8. Does the bank have a legal right to collect money it claims I owe it? If so, then were does this legal right come from, assuming the loan has been securitised?

The bank only has one counter argument to this: there is a contract between you and the bank. However, if your loan has been securitised, the contract is sold! It's gone. The bank no longer has the contract, nor does it have the right to that contract. What part of this do the banks not understand? If a bank alludes or pretends they have it, then we believe that they are committing fraud.
The contract between you and the bank could conceivably say anything it wants to. The fact is that it has been sold and the bank has lost all rights to it. In our opinion, the bank cannot legally, ethically or morally claim back the debt from you because they have already been paid.

9. Has my loan with the bank been settled by a special purpose vehicle, insurance policy, or by any other party?

This is going to shock you, so be warned. When a loan is securitised, your loan gets bundled with other loans and then sold to a third party. If you default (miss a few payments), then the third party (called an SPV – Special Purpose Vehicle) carries insurance. They get paid out if you default!
This needs to be emphasised: If you get sick or lose your job, or you cannot meet your repayment obligations, then the secret third parties who trade in your loans get paid out. They are protected against your default. So then... where is your protection? Nowhere. You have no protection because to protect you would mean to inform you of the game and once you know the game, the game is over.
And one more thing... if the SPV is insured so they get paid out if you default... and the bank was paid for your loan right up front when the loan was securitised. So then... how and why are they able to foreclose on your assets? And where does the money go from the sale on the Sheriff's auction? This is precisely what we are fighting to expose.

10. Regarding the security given to the bank by me, has this security been sold on or given as security / surety to another party?

This is the final nail in the coffin. Put simply, we want the bank to admit that they no longer have your security. If they do not have your security, then they cannot foreclose. The banks will never admit this because it means admitting that billions of Euro's in foreclosures of assets over the past two decades would have been illegal. This would lead to an avalanche of lawsuits.

It may be worth considering for a moment: IF there is any truth to the possibility that Obama and Putin are working together at this time, there is an unfortunate advantage to making the world think that there might be a war. Every time you are faced with a crisis that potentially threatens your life, humans suddenly begin to take action. We act unfortunately at the last minute. If the cabal is to be finally removed from its power, the will of the people must be united, and if it is united on the will of peace, there will be justification for the forces of good to act on behalf of that collective will.

16. FINAL WORDS : WHAT ABOUT LOVE?

In this week's FINAL WORDS, I have a bit of a confession to make.

For many nations around the world today and perhaps this weekend, they may observe or even celebrate Valentine's Day, a day of love to recognize someone special or extra-special in your LIFE-path.

For some who are single, they may hate this day, and use it to fuel their anger about the uselessness of this day. Others still may be wise enough to know that every day is a day to love, and that this day really is only another marketing holiday to sell chocolate, cards, flowers, presents and perhaps more luxurious items such as jewellery.

There are of course varying degrees of love, as everyone knows. As we move more and more into the higher vibrations, we connect with various sources and/or messengers who share their perspectives on what love will be like at the 5D level or higher.

While we still exist in this current level of vibration, it may cause a bit of an internal battle within oneself. I confess that I am one of those individuals. I can speak in front a large audience about global events, peace and other topics without any trouble. However, put me into a one to one communication with a woman whom I feel a degree of attraction to, and I bottle up. We are often told to just be ourselves, but I am sure that many single Lightworkers have been out on dates and they were themselves, only to find the evening either does not work out well or it completely tanks, because he/she was too open his/her perspectives of the global situation or of energy or whatever.

So, the Lightworker tries all the usual justifications to make one feel better:

"It was a test to see how well I stand by truth without giving into lust with my ego."

"That person was not resonating with me."

"I'm glad I found out early what this person is about."

"I deserve better"

And probably any one of many other reasons.

At the end of the day however, regardless of the reasons or excuses, one still does not have the desired companionship one may be seeking.

Some marketed spiritual messages sell the idea that we should not be seeking physical relations at this time, because we are stepping into our higher mastery and vibration where we are not supposed to need or desire that kind of companionship. We are supposed to be raising our vibration to the point where we are detached from that level of interaction.

One of the arguments is that men and women often are not at the same level of awareness and that any kind of physical relation is not spiritual because one or both partners are only together for the physical interaction, without the awareness of the spiritual growth at the heart of their purpose for being together.

Other sources may say that it is perfectly okay, and in fact should be encouraged because this is who we are.

Others still are confused, and not sure what they want. They avoid relations because they want to assure themselves that they are focusing on their individual spiritual growth without letting their ego rule their hearts. At the same time, they desire varying levels of companionship, romance, intimacy or physical contact.

Is being together with another too selfish for one supposedly on a spiritual path of awakening? Does being with another mean I am sacrificing my own energies and limiting myself from my full potential? If I am being selfish, am I holding someone back from his/her full potential? How do I know when I am entering a relation with someone for the right reasons, where both can be honoured? How can I communicate this to a potential partner, without scaring him/her off, if she/he is not fully aware, but still interested?

The list goes on. One of the big justifications I have used in the past is that my work carries a certain degree of risk, and as people hear about my work, a potential partner may become a target, and I have been reluctant to put another into that situation.

Having been single for so long, and having gone through all of these questions and more, the simple answer appears to be: it is all of it, and it is none of it.

If you find that confusing, you are now entering what may be the mindset of the single Lightworker trying to navigate the field of love at both a 3D and a 5D level of vibration.

The answer is not necessarily an acceptable and understood answer, and this may be why some Lightworkers are more insecure.

Of course there is also this reason: the Lightworker is not where he/she is supposed to be, in order to connect with sufficient numbers of people of similar vibration. For some, it is easy to give up everything, and go and live in a self-sustaining, spiritual community somewhere. Others are still serving roles within the 3D society, and have to deal with the lower vibrations on a daily basis, while trying to maintain their higher vibration, while trying to argue within themselves whether or not they wish to take the risky step of inviting someone out on a date.

My LIFE-path has brought past experiences that pushed me into closing my heart and making excuses. Although I may have wanted to blame past relations for who I am now, I realize it is not honourable to do that. I created my LIFE-path, and I must be accountable to what I have created.

It still does not necessarily make me feel better, while watching a romantic comedy movie, or being in an environment that couples might consider romantic while being solo.

Some Lightworkers may feel they are being punished, while missing the lesson that drives them to reflect on their lives and what they are creating in the current moment of 'now'. Others just want to know what they have to do to find love.

Loving oneself and honouring one's truth or LIFE-path is indeed a part of it. If one cannot love oneself, how can one expect another to?

A Russian friend in Sweden always warned to not talk about my 'voodoo shit' when I was going out on a possible date. I told him that this is who I am, and I would rather find out early if someone is not interested, so I do not waste her or my money. As I do not have a lot of money, I of course am using this as another possible reason for avoiding the dating game.

Now I am neither unique, nor am I any more special than another Lightworker. I have made choices, either rightly or wrongly in terms of the alignment to my LIFE-path. I am aware enough that I want to try to avoid the patterns and mistakes of the past. I may or may not know exactly what I am desiring or looking for, but I know that I what I do carries some element of risk, and that it is neither honourable nor fair to put a potential companion into a situation without their prior knowledge.

Friends say "Don't reveal everything too early. Tell them after you are officially together." This has not felt particularly honourable with me.

The irony is that I have counseled friends through their relations over many years, and they have felt that I know so much about relations but they question me as to why I am not in a relation myself. I am very aware of the comic irony in that.

We are cleansing a lot at this time. We may be fearful of what we are giving up. We may fearful of what may replace that which we are letting go of now.

Sometimes it is hard to be in joy, to create that attitude that allows all the good energies to flow into one's world, when one is processing and releasing things that are no longer meaningful. Having an understanding companion might be nice, but is it fair to impose our energies upon another?

I am intentionally not going to offer any suggestions to Lightworkers. This is because I know that whatever I advice I offer to you, dear listeners is advice that is truly meant for myself. Now the question becomes: is that response my selfish ego, based in fear, or my respecting others enough to not impose my own uninvited thoughts an feelings on others?

If you choose to celebrate Valentine's Day, may you celebrate in the highest way possible, in alignment with your Highest Good. If another special soul is involved, may it also be respectful and honourable to the Highest Good of him or her also.

In this weeks FINAL WORDS, each of us, through the course of our LIFE-paths have found ourselves in situations where we are dealing with others who are upset, or we may be upset and finding ourselves having to deal with others. It can be a very challenging, if not unpleasant experience, especially when the wrong things are said at the wrong time, and if only one or both had taken a moment to consider the feelings of the other or others involved before speaking, how everything could have worked out differently, and perhaps even beautifully.

Certainly as the energies continue to rise, we are going to find ourselves increasingly placed into situations that require our attention for healing. If we are unable or unwilling to recognize how we interact with others, we may continue to find ourselves facing situations over and over again. I'd like to read the following article by Dr. Leahy in the hopes that some of this information will resonate with at least a few people for consideration in how they are communicating with loved ones at this time of energetic shift.

Dr. Leahy, the director of the American Institute for Cognitive Therapy in New York City writes:

"Imagine that the person that you love is upset about something -- her job, his health, her feelings about the relationship. Let's say she is worried about her health, worried that she might have some terrible illness -- and that even if you think she is going to be OK, you want to comfort her, make her feel better. What are the worst ways and best ways of talking? What should you say, and what should you avoid saying?

Let me give you a hint. The most important thing in talking to someone who is upset is to communicate that 1) you understand they are upset, 2) you care about how they feel, and 3) you respect their right to have their feelings.

What Not To Say

Let's start with the biggest mistakes in talking with your partner. For convenience, I've broken them down into six problematic styles:

1. Minimizing. This is the style where you treat your partner's concerns as trivial: "It's nothing. Why are you making a big deal out of it?" You are trying to tell them that their feelings are not related to anything real or important. So, the message they get is, "My feelings don't matter to you."

2. Rationalizing. You treat your partner's concerns as evidence of their irrational and distorted thinking. You try to argue away their concerns. This is a specific kind of minimization, and it sends the same negative message: "Your feelings are based on nothing real. Get over it."

3. Competitive complaining. In this little game you don't want your partner to "win" by being the one with the biggest complaints. So you start bringing up your own: "You think that's bad? I think I might lose my job!" Again, your partner feels there is no room for her feelings. You matter more.

4. Fixing. If your partner has unpleasant feelings, you jump in to try to solve all the problems. Laying out your well-thought-out plan, you get frustrated when she doesn't buy into your solutions. This makes her feel less understood and she thinks, at times, that you are patronizing.

5. Defending. In this scenario you treat your partner's emotions as a personal attack on you. If he is upset, you feel that you are to blame, so you turn it into a trial and start defending yourself. This goes nowhere; you get more angry and dismiss his feelings.

6. Stonewalling. In this case, you just withdraw. Feeling frustrated listening to her feelings, you withdraw, become silent and sullen and may leave the room. Now she is all alone, feeling abandoned.

So, what should you say?

Hint: Your partner wants to feel that 1) you understand that they are upset, 2) you care about how they feel, and 3) you respect their right to have their feelings.

Consider some of the following. Would you like to hear any of this when you are upset?

"I know it must be hard for you feeling this way.""I can see that it makes sense that you would feel down, given the way that you are seeing things.""A lot of times you may feel that people don't understand how hard it is for you.""You must be thinking that this really down feeling is going to last a long time. It must be hard to feel that way.""I want you to know that I am always here for you.""I don't want to sound like I don't want to hear about your feelings. I do. But if there is anything that I can do to help you feel better, please let me know. Your feelings are really important to me."

Here are some simple guidelines (from my recent book, "Beat the Blues Before They Beat You: How to Overcome Depression"):

1. Help make sense of feelings. Tell your partner how you understand that her emotions make sense given what has happened and how she is thinking. "Others have these feelings." "Your feelings make sense given the way you are looking at things." "You are not alone."

2. Expand the range of feelings. Help your partner understand that there are many feelings -- not just the current one. Feelings come and go, there are mixed feelings, and feelings vary in intensity. "You have so many different emotions -- some feel positive and some seem negative." "I know you are feeling sad, but are there other feelings that you are having as well?" "Are you having mixed feelings?"

3. Reduce shame and guilt. Help your partner understand that feelings are not a sign of being weak, but rather a sign of being human. "We all have difficult feelings at times. Your emotions are a sign that you feel things intensely, because things matter to you. You are most human when you have your feelings."

4. Accept your partner's pain. When you love someone, it's natural that you want to jump in and make that person feel better. Sometimes that can be helpful, but at other times it may convey the message that your partner's pain is too much for you to hear. You can communicate acceptance by saying, "I know that you are having a hard time, and I accept that you will not always feel upbeat." Acceptance and validation go hand and hand.

5. Link emotions to higher values. Sometimes your emotions can reflect the things you value -- competence, love, belonging or responsibility. You can support your partner emotionally by saying, "I know that these things bother you because you truly value them. Things matter to you."

Your partner needs your love -- but your love is an active verb -- to love her or him in a way that they understand that you care, that you get it and that you are there for them. No one wants to feel that their emotions are a burden, or based on some irrational idea, or that every problem has to be fixed by you. Maybe solving the problem might be helpful -- if they want it solved. But showing you care involves making time for listening, being there to hear, respecting the right to feel bad at times.

17. FINAL WORDS: RE-VISITING 'TRUTH'.

In this week's FINAL WORDS, it may be worth re-visiting this word called 'truth'.

One could perhaps argue that 'truth' is a factually accurate summary of specific events, situations, or people. However, 'truth' is often not a factually accurate summary, but an interpretation of those events, situations or people according to how the individual perceiving them has chosen to perceive them.

TRUTH, according to the Merriam Webster online dictionary, is defined as follows:

: the real facts about something : the things that are true

: the quality or state of being true

: a statement or idea that is true or accepted as true

Gregg Braden, in his book 'The God Code' has written: ""From persecutions and inquisitions, to holy wars and genocide, we have defined ourselves through differences. At the same time, the most advanced science in history has extended our collective eyes and ears to the edge of our solar system, and now beyond, in our quest to understand how, together, we fit into the scheme of creation. Even with the miraculous advances of last century's technology, the irony of our time is that we have yet to discover precisely who we are."

Therefore, what is 'truth' dear Ones?

Now, there is 'relative truth', that which is in alignment with you or that which resonates with you in this current moment of 'now'. This 'truth' may adapt or even change completely in another upcoming moment of 'now'. Is what was true for you a week ago, a year ago, 10 years ago or maybe 50 years ago any more or less 'true' for you right now? What has changed? Have the actual facts about something or someone changed, or is it merely your perception or interpretation of those facts that have changed?

Religion is one such topic where numerous traditions claim to be in possession of 'truth' . Although this word 'truth' applies any specific experience in your world in this moment, I would like to share a few paragraphs from my Masters thesis for Peace Education, talking about religion. As you hear the words on this topic, try to expand what you hear, beyond the topic of 'religion' and see how they may apply to your family life, your social life, your professional career or any other aspect of your LIFE-path that you feel is most meaningful to you in this moment of 'now'. The following is from my thesis:

"Many, if not all religions lay claim to the provision of the love that (David) Suzuki (has) said is required by our nature as social animals. "Their" Divine may provide love, however this love is also conditional, and requires compliance in order to be granted. Humans have sought to be connected to love, and in accepting what others say or believe, humans "give away" their energy to the prevailing belief, thinking that they are somehow not "worthy" or able to have the love, or give the love that they see present in various religious social networks. As long as one "believes" or supports the illusions of separation of others, one is accepted and loved as a member of their group. However, upon reaching a point where ones truth is expanding to look elsewhere, the love of that group becomes conditional, and this is not LIFE-honouring. Walsch writes that "Until you see God in the face of your enemy, you cannot see God at all. For, in truth, there is no such thing as an 'enemy'. There is only that part of you which is in contrast to another part of you. God doesn't exist for you if He exists for you only in the things and the people you like. God isn't real for you if She is experienced by you only in those things with which you agree." (p.142)

What humanity seeks, and needs is the connectedness that comes at the level of LIFE. Tolle (2004) believes that it is this lack of connectedness that fuels illusions of separation from oneself and from the world. It is from this point of separation that one sees oneself as isolated. From this point, fear grows, and conflict from within and without become normal behaviour and expression.

"The word God has become empty of meaning through thousands of years of misuse. ... people who have never even glimpsed the realm of the sacred, the infinite vastness behind that word, use it with great conviction, as if they knew what they are talking about. Or, they argue against it, as if they knew what it is that they are denying."(p.13)

"Many in Judeo-Christian-based religions may argue that we, meaning humans, are created in the image and likeness of God, and therefore humanity represents the Divine upon Earth, and it is creation that serves us. Walsch (2004) does not necessarily disagree with this, but goes further to write that "the statement that you are made in the image and likeness of God, does NOT mean that God is like you, but that you are like God." This is a rather profound statement, and requires thought by many. It requires us to re-think our relationship with that which exists beyond the physical realm. "If you are like [God], that means that you are not a being, not a physical form, at all, but can take the form of a physical being whenever you wish. ..It means that you are Pure Energy, with the power of Creation, expressing as a source of Infinite Wisdom and Unconditional Love." (p.178)

As will be shown later, an argument can made that EVERYTHING is "God", because everything is LIFE, and LIFE consists of the same basic elements of creation. Humanity just happens to be one aspect of LIFE that possesses an ability to choose, based on ever-increasing levels of self-awareness.

Awakening to what needs to be done requires humanity to see the path we have walked, and choose willingly to take responsibility for past choices, accept the consequences, and make new choices within our means to live and survive. Walsch (2004) has noted that "... given where humanity is saying that it wants to go, given what humanity is insisting that it wishes to experience – namely, a world of peace, harmony and happiness – you (we) are headed in the wrong direction." Humanity is suffering massive consequences of its choices for living the way it does.

We need a new understanding of the consequences that have resulted from choices that do not honour LIFE. It requires an acknowledgement that things are wrong. It requires humanity to take responsibility at a personal level for having contributed to the prevailing global condition. It requires humanity to make bold, new choices that cannot be made later.

Every action, thought, and feeling is motivated by an intention, and that intention is a cause that exists as one with an effect. If we participate in the cause, it is not possible for us not to participate in the effect. In this most profound way, we are held responsible for our every action, thought and feeling, which is to say, for our every intention." (Zukav, 1989)"

So it comes down to choices and to truth. What is your uniquely different yet equally beautiful truth, relative to your current LIFE-path, and which absolute truth are you observing and creating for humanity and our planet? What choices are you ready, willing and able to make to honour your relative truth, in order for the absolute truth to unfold, not only for your Highest Good, but for the Highest Good of ALL aspects of LIFE, physical, non-physical, visible and invisible?

Are you ready, able and willing to reconcile your relative truth, to fall into greater alignment and greater service to, this larger absolute truth?
